  • Getting started: All volunteers will be required to sign a waiver at their first volunteer effort.  Adults are welcome to sign the waiver upon arrival. Volunteers under 18 will need to bring a waiver signed by a parent or guardian with them.

    Download the waiver here

  • What to wear: Volunteers are required to wear closed-toed shoes and long pants.

  • What to bring: Unless otherwise communicated, all tools needed will be provided. For outdoor opportunities, a refillable water bottle is recommended as well as a hat.

  • Greenhouse Growers Every Wednesday

Native Grow-Out Greenhouse Growers is a dedicated volunteer group focused on aiding the efforts of the Conservancy’s Native Grow-Out Co-op. The group meets weekly on Wednesdays at the greenhouse from 8am-10am to clean and plant seeds, fertilize plants, improve the greenhouse and replant plants that need a bigger home.

Please email volunteer@memorialparkconservancy.org to join the group.

  • Park Patrol

Park patrol volunteers expand the capability of Memorial Park Conservancy to enhance the Park and visitor experience. Patrol volunteers help lost Park users and report maintenance and safety issues. Use the Park as you usually do, by bike, on foot, or while walking your dog, but help us make YOUR Park a better place. Volunteers commit to 5 hours per month and a short training with MPC staff.

Learn more here and inquire at volunteer@memorialparkconservancy.org.

  • Office and Event Volunteers

It takes a lot of behind the scenes work to keep our Park looking beautiful and keep our Park users happy. Help us with fundraising events, donor and volunteer appreciation, and general office tasks.
