What does Memorial Park mean to you?
For some, it’s running the Seymour Lieberman Exer-Trail and reconnecting with nature after a busy work day. For others, it’s having a family picnic at Picnic Loop or volunteering with friends at the greenhouse on the weekends. Houstonians have different answers for what iconic Memorial Park means to them – and Memorial Park Conservancy wants to know yours.
Selected answers will be permanently featured in the forthcoming Eastern Glades, so let your voice be heard! The submission deadline is February 29, 2020 and entries will be selected by Houston’s Youth Poet Laureate, Madison Petaway!
