Make Music Day at Memorial Park

Memorial Park is proud to be a venue for Make Music Day on Wednesday, June 21. This is a free celebration of all types of music from around the world. This year’s event will feature a diverse lineup of performers throughout the Clay Family Eastern Glades. Join us at Live Oak Court, sit back at Hines Lake, and enjoy music on the longest day of the year.

Launched in 1982 in France as the Fête de la Musique, Make Music Day is now held on the same day in more than 1,000 cities in 120 countries. More than 3.8K music-making events took place nationwide in 2022. Completely different from a typical music festival, Make Music is open to anyone who wants to take part. Every kind of musician — young and old, amateur and professional, of every musical persuasion — pours onto streets, parks, plazas, and porches to share their music with friends, neighbors, and strangers. All of it is free and open to the public. Find out more on the Make Music Day website, here.
