Chevron Houston Marathon at Memorial Park
Join us January 19 at Memorial Park’s ‘Scream Tunnel’ to cheer on Chevron Houston Marathon runners as they tackle the course and make their way through the Park’s Kinder Land Bridge tunnels. The morning event will be complete with a DJ, light show and all the noise makers you can think of! Memorial Park Conservancy will also provide light refreshments. Lawn chairs and handheld signs are welcome!

ROAD CLOSURES:
The following roads will be closed during the event:
- Memorial Dr. (westbound) from Chimney Rock Rd. to Loop 610
- Memorial Dr. (eastbound) from Loop 610 to Shepherd
Road closures will begin early in the morning at 6:00 a.m. Parking for the entire southside of Memorial Park will be closed to the public from 6:00 am until approximately 2:00 pm. However, access to the northside will remain open at Washington Ave. You can access the north side of the Park by using the following roads:
- Wescott St.
- Memorial Loop Dr.
- Durford St.
- Haskell St.
- Arnot St.
Free parking will be available in the following locations:
- Along West Memorial Loop Dr.
- Lot next to Softball Field 3
- Lot next to McConn Ballfield 1
Paid Parking will be available in the following locations:
- West Sports Complex
- East Sports Complex
- Tennis Center parking lot
- Golf Center parking lot
- Fitness Pool parking lot
- Clay Family Eastern Glades Parking lot
