Run for 41

Join us in commemorating the 100th Birthday of former President George H.W. Bush by participating in a 4.1-mile run or walk in his honor this week! Share your journey on social media using the hashtag #Runfor41.
Memorial Park Conservancy will feature flowers and photos of the former president at Memorial Park’s Bush Grove. Situated on the north side of the Park, by East Memorial Loop, this Grove was dedicated to President and Mrs. Bush back in 1996!
President George H.W. Bush was a dedicated supporter of Memorial Park, often spotted running on its trails and playing a key role in preserving the banks of Buffalo Bayou. The Bush family, including the former president, will always hold a special place in our hearts.
