Biography

Jessie Maldonado is a native Houstonian who started with the Conservancy’s native landscaping crew before becoming a grounds technician. His sense of humor, willingness to engage with all Park users, and fluency in Spanish have made him an integral part of the team. He is always eager to learn new things and enjoys keeping the grounds looking good for all Houstonians. Jessie is a passionate fan of all Houston sports teams and spends his evenings and weekends coaching his son’s elite baseball team.
