Biography

Upon completing her master’s degree in vocal performance from the University of Houston, Desiree moved to New York to continue her artistic growth. While living in the city she collaborated with various artists producing several multi-disciplinary musical events. She worked as a project manager in advertising before transitioning to nonprofit work. Since joining the Conservancy in 2018, she has realized a deep passion for equity and accessibility and regularly volunteers with local grassroots organizations. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring the Bayou Wilds Trails as well as being an amateur photographer.
